My Views on 7am arivu.. - the most delayed review..

I think i would be the last one to watch this most expected movie by many people.. The reason for my postponement was the insulting reviews on the other movie released along with this.. i didnt mean that the other movie was the best..

but i here share my views on '7th sense' that i watched using my 6 senses:

1. The biggest drawback of this movie, i would say is the background score. Really, i felt it to be great miss. i wish to make some comparisons here.. i dont wish to compare the movie/story etc but only the song. Nimirndhu  Nil song from Saroja movie and Sambo Siva Sambo from Nadodigal, these 2 songs really created the mood to watch those respective movies and also kindered the emotions. but the song Innum enna thozha in this movie is not provoking emotions or the needed feel for that situation but only sleep and anuthaabam for the castings there. it should have been terrific but it was just the contrary. It was all about a research attempt in Genetics and the song feel was like getting up from love failure..
2.  The climax fight, oh my God, again the music. i had a feel that i heard that music somewhere. after the movie was over, 1 hour later, i was switching my channels. i came across a tamil cartoon channel. Oh, i got that music. it was the one used for animation. i was shocked. but what else i can do..
3. The casting selection: i would say surya had less scope than shruthi haasan. The whole movie was based on the cast Subha who is actually the backbone. Being her first movie, we cant expect more than this. but some other artist should have been chosen here. she has done her job well. but it wasnt upto the satisfactory mark for that character. i would say the Director should have gone for some other artists.
4. Similarly, a talented villain was wasted. Out of 10 scenes for example, people can bear 5 to 6 eye-mind control shots. but all scenes used that. then atleast, the climax fight could also been between their eyes and not their physique..
5. Overall, the presentation lacked and pushed the essence of the story. The Director has come out with a great theme and story but failed to present it to the audience perfectly.

There are many movies with similar story. They enter box office because of their treatment and also the way the Director presents it to the audience.

This movie had a novel issue dealt but the scripting was just like an ordinary movie. A normal audience can guess what will be the next scenes and twists(we call so!!). It was neither thrilling nor interest provoking. In this sense, i felt that the 'other kind of same storyline movies' are far better than the 'uniquely tried and spoiled one'

It is very easy to sit and comment than to direct. But the movie, which had so many official advertisers and pre-interviews, could have been concentrated atleast after knowing the hype created among the audience. But what to do.. we can only comment and regret..
