Truly Atheistic!

Whenever I watch or listen to "Paarthene" song from Mookuthi Amman movie in Tamil, I was often bonded with those lines:
"Aayiram kai undu endral nee oru kai thara koodatha?
Eeraayiram kan kondai, un oru kan enai paaratha?"

What is the meaning?

"You have a thousand hands, can't you extend one?
You have two thousand eyes, not even one sees me?"

This might seem to be the most comforting line for anyone who undergoes deep wounds, hurts or pain in their life. But after watching Karuppu movie, these lines brought in a new tone in my mind.

"Even when you have a thousand hands, you still don't lift me.
Even though there are two thousand eyes, you still don't see me."

Can you interpret the tone of these two translations from two different tones?

If not, read it again, you will realize the difference!

Let me begin with the movie Karuppu:

Till someone applies chilli paste to the Lord, He was silent.

Even when Binu's father applied chilli paste, still he lost his daughter. Getting promise from God and not allowing Him to use His powers are mere tricks to make Baby Kannan win. So the movie team wants to make sure, humans can challenge God and win against Him and God watches everything in silence!

Karuppu's power are limited to the boundary.

A very new concept! Let me explain politically. Imagine a Goverment function where Prime Minister and Chief Minister of a particular state are participating. When it comes to respect, it follows a hierarchy right? PM first, CM next! Does that mean, since CM has power in that state, PM is powerless there? PM executes via CM.  No PM will say since I am elected for the country, I won't solve state problems and No CM will say since I am an elected MLA of one constituency, I will not look into the needs of another constituency. 

Karuppu says to Baby Kannan that Kannan himself built a high tech court which Karuppu planned to do so.

The team says, God will not do anything. If we want, only we should do!

Karuppu saves Kanmani via another advocate (the case in the new court).

God starts reforming the wrong deeds only after some death occurs. This is similar to earlier Police movies, where the most strict police officer will lose his family, his happiness and everything for the sake of people. But he himself would be unhappy all through his life. Same way, Binu was served injustice but because of her, everyone else is served justice.

The Game of Fear.

No one actually reformed! God says "Honesty is like addiction". Dear Writers, understand one thing: "Bad Habits are addiction, that's why they are acquired easily and not so easy to let it go".

Enough of Karuppu!

Let me now extend these contradictions to Mookuthi Amman.

Even though Urvasi family (Mouli's family) missed visiting often or yearly once, where are the other families who have the same kuladeivam? 

Kuladeivam temple is not a single family based temple. Even though one family forgets, other families still do their contributions to those temples. If you take Chandramukhi 2 movie, it was called Kuladeiva temple but it was projected as a specific lineage oriented temple that's why, a particular family got affected.

People now a days are not much aware of Kuladeiva procedure, so whatever is shown, will create goosebumps at that moment. In reality, Kuladeivam protects all families irrespective of whether you do respects or not, because it is a family's ultimate shield. But for a certain number of years / generations, when they don't contribute, it silently moves from their family. Families return back to their kuladeivam when they face bad times again!

According to the story, God picked the God-chosen child for Her mission to protect the environment.

This part is fine since the child himself was interested in protecting his environment. But showing God in human-centric way was terrible. Like Amman having jealousy towards the Lord of Thirupathi. Though it was projected for humor, what kind of input is imparted to the audience about God?

Every time The Goddess gives a boon, it stayed till the devotees did not believe, but it vanished once they started believing.

This clearly stated boons don't exist in reality and those miracles can happen only in dream!

The climax portion: when Gods want to do something, they will themselves do, why do they need mediator?

Yes, perfectly right! Then why was Engels Ramasamy chosen for this work? They try to say, even God needs help from humans to accomplish their tasks.

Finally the God-chosen child says - I don't need anything! And also, he advises the audience with a message: Don't ask anything because our needs are limitless!

All needs differ. For some, 3 times of food per day is still challenging. For some, it's an easy task! Without being specific in needs, how can you judge the necessity? 

I just picked few points where the Theistic view has been totally damaged.

Nayanthara would say:
"Kadavul ilanu solravana kuda nambalam, aana en kadavul thaan ellamnu solravana namba koodadhu"
It means:
We can even believe an atheist but not the one who says his God is everything while other Gods are not.

Let me rephrase it:
Kadavul nambikkai ilanu solravana kuda nambalam, aana kadavul nambuna ipadi dhaan agumnu solravan kita echcharikaiya irukanum.

It means:
We can even believe the one who says he doesn't believe in God, but we ought to be careful with the one who portrays God's belief will result so (as done in the movies).
