I have been writing something since 2014. Something more than a short story and very less than a novel. I came across the word - Novelette. It stands approximately between 10k and 15k words. Though the draft versions were ready by 2015, it took almost 7 years to publish it. 😇 I have so far published 2 novelettes! I know this must be a very late review on the remake movie - Veetla Visesham. Post the movie release, I came across the plot of the movie! 2 questions were running in my mind! 1. Why did RJ Balaji go for a remake? 2. Why did he choose this plot for a remake? When I enquired few people who watched the movie, they gave me different responses, let me list a few! "This movie says how attached a family must be" "We don't need more money to be happy as a family" "Child planning is very important in life. We should be financially ready to face things" But in one or two interviews of RJ Balaji before the release of the movie, he more or less mentioned, this movie has changed his perspective towards women, especially the mothers. But none of these responses above reflected this thought. I was initially reluctant to watch this movie because of the plot. I came across sneek peek in youtube and the movie also had a world television premiere. I didn't watch it ...
